For what purpose do we process your data, what is its legitimate basis and how long will we keep it?

FERRER will process the personal data you provide us, as well as all those collected through the use of the Website, in order to manage your contact request and provide the medical information required by the query raised. We will be able to answer you through any of the channels provided.

The legal basis for processing your data for this purpose is FERRER's legitimate interest as the data controller, enabling us to address your requests. Your interests as a data subject are not adversely affected in any way, as we would be merely responding a request initiated by you.

In the case you want to use certain features of the Website, such as accessing reserved spaces, you must register with FERRER CONNECT. Having a FERRER CONNECT account will allow you to access different FERRER services and platforms. You can access the Ferrer Connect policy here for more information, as well as to know the applicable retention period. The legal basis that legitimizes the processing of your data for this purpose is the execution of a contract, understood as such the Terms of Use of Ferrer Connect. The processing of your data is necessary for the proper provision of this single registration service.

Your personal data will be saved for the time necessary to respond to your request. In relation to the data processed to respond to your request, we will keep your data blocked for six months as soon as we consider that we have resolved your request.

 

What data do we process?

In the framework of the provision of the services we offer through the Website, FERRER may process identification data, contact data and personal characteristics reported on your status as a health professional.

 

To which recipients will the data be communicated?

FERRER will not communicate your personal data to third parties except in compliance with the corresponding legal obligations in each case. 

Likewise, we inform you that your personal data may be accessed by third parties acting on behalf of FERRER, provided that such access and data processing is essential for the provision of a specific service to FERRER. Under this scenario, these third parties will process your personal data exclusively for the purposes determined by FERRER in each case and, in no case, for their own purposes.

 

What are your rights as data subject?

You can exercise the following rights related to your personal data with FERRER at any time: access; rectification; erasure; restrict of processing; data portability and objecto to processing. Each of these rights are described in detail below: 

  • Access: You can obtain confirmation as to whether FERRER processes your personal data, as well as consult your personal data included in FERRER's files.

  • Rectification: You can modify your personal data when they are inaccurate or complete those that are incomplete.

  • Erasure: You can request the erasure of your personal data when, among other reasons, the data are no longer necessary for the purposes for which they were collected.

  • Object to processing: You can request not to process your personal data. FERRER will stop processing the data, except for the existence of compelling legitimate reasons or the exercise or defense of possible claims.

  • Restrict of processing: You may request the restriction of the processing of your data in the following cases:

    • While the accuracy of your data is being verified;

    • When the treatment is considered unlawful, as a data subject can refuse the deletion of your data and request the restriction of its use;

    • When FERRER does not need to process your data, but you need them for the exercise or defense of claims;

    • When you have objected to the processing of your data for the fulfillment of a public interest mission or for the satisfaction of a legitimate interest, the restriction will take place while verifying whether the legitimate reasons for the processing prevail over yours

  • Portability: You can receive, in electronic format, the personal data you have provided to us and those obtained from our relationship, as well as transmit them to another responsible entity.

To exercise these rights, you can send a written request accompanied by documents and/or supporting information of your identity and expressly indicating which of the rights listed above you wish to exercise by email to lopd@ferrer.com. Please note, however, that the exercise of certain rights may be limited due to the need to comply with the legitimate interests of FERRER, as well as in the case of having to comply with a legal obligation.

The exercise of these rights will be free of charge as long as they are not exercised in a manifestly unfounded or excessive manner.

Finally, we would like to inform you that you have the right to file a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es), located at C/ Jorge Juan núm. 6, 28001 Madrid, in the event that you consider that FERRER has not treated your data in accordance with the data protection regulation.
